Miss Mac Glass is an independently run company started by Deanna MacAulay in Calgary Alberta. It's organic approach and cohesive properties resonate with life and vibrancies. Armed with a love affair for color, Deanna investigates depth and beauty that can be achieved by cutting, layering and melting glass.
Not being afraid of any shape or size, Miss Mac Glass takes advantage of the seemingly endless processes of glass. Graduating from the Alberta College of Art and Design, Deanna shares her time between her art practice, teaching classes and creating glass jewelry and accessories.
Her inspiration is gathered from naturally occurring color patterns, shapes and textures. It is here where her eye for color was developed. Whether it's seeking out contrast or focusing on shape, Deanna's attention to the organic creates a vibrant and intriguing canvas.
